Nov 20 7:00 PM | Tickets will be available on 08/05/2024 Scottsdale, AZ Virginia G. Piper Theater at Scottsdale Performing ArtsCHRISTMAS WITH LORIE LINE 2024About the TourThis is Ms. Line's 35th year of touring at Christmastime. And the fourth year she is going solo. Yes, after 30 years of sharing the stage with a dozen world-class musicians, Line says she has "hit her stride" in her career. She loves the simplicity of being on stage all by herself as it gives her the flexibility to improvise with her playing . . . and with her story-telling. It started eight years ago with The Living Room Series. "I decided to just play the piano all by myself for a small crowd in my own home, tell a few stories, laugh and act silly, and talk and play to friends and fans who would sit up close, right next to me (like the Dayton's days). Performing all by myself in a small space and in a less formal gathering forced me to find myself. Musically, spiritually, and personally." At first Line says it was scary. Frightening. But then . . . she got her groove on. And now . . . she loves it. And fans obviously do too. Line will take this new-found freedom to sold out venues across the country. "The hardest part of the day now is getting the piano to the stage," says Line. "Every concert hall and theatre is different." But after the piano gets placed on the stage, Line and her three favorite people that travel with her jump into action. A beautiful stage is set, lights are focused, CDs and Music Books are ready to sell in the lobby, the piano is tuned, and it is show time! Line plans to share her faith and the "good news" with her fans, celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. She will play both new and traditional Christmas music this year from her vast collection of recorded albums. And the only person she will share the stage with is her fabulous featured vocalist, Jimmy Finch, a Baritone opera singer. The tour opens in Scottsdale on November 20th and will travel to 30 cities. One stop will be very special as Lorie will be playing in Reno, her hometown, at her high school's brand new performing arts center. PLEASE NOTE: AGE RESTRICTION ON THIS SHOW IS 10 AND UP. Dec 07 3:00 PM | Tickets will be available on 08/05/2024 Burnsville, MN Ames CenterCHRISTMAS WITH LORIE LINE 2024About the TourThis is Ms. Dec 21 3:00 PM | Tickets will be available on 08/05/2024 Minneapolis (Plymouth), MN Providence Academy Performing Arts CenterCHRISTMAS WITH LORIE LINE 2024About the TourThis is Ms.
